What qualities do you have in motherhood you hope your child is most thankful for when they think of you?
Let’s get deeper!
What about these qualities are you most proud of? What about you as a mother makes you happy and proud of yourself? Remembering these qualities about you is so important because we are so hard on ourselves as moms. Remember always that you are a good mom.
How are you teaching your child(ren) to have these qualities themselves? We teach our children how to be everyday. What kind of person are you hoping for your child to grow into? We also can forget, that who we are will mirror so much of who they will be. Being mindful of this is so important when it comes to motherhood.
Are there qualities your own mother had or has that you are most thankful for? We are nothing if it wasn’t for our own mothers. What qualities does or did she have that you are most thankful she showed you as a child. What of her qualities do you notice inside of you?
Are there qualities you would like to work towards in motherhood? There is always room for improvement especially when it comes to mothering our babies. What do you know could need work within you? Patience? Understanding? Saying “no” too often? So many things can come to mind here, and acknowledgment is the first step to correcting it. You got this mama!
